Nope, didn’t forget – here’s some 2018 themed workouts! I’m working on a few different things and today’s workout was scheduled to be fairly short.
I did the following with a focus on slow, extremely controlled reps (I’d done a lot of volume with pull-ups the other day, so this was planned).
After more than a few mobility exercises, I did the following:
18 dead hang pullups broken up into short sets for slow reps: 5, 5, 5, 3
Then I got one 20kg kettlebell and one 18kg kettlebell, cleaned them both, pressed them both, brought them back down and then did one squat with them – then switched them… and did it again for a total of 20 times. Fun and simple!
Today, my clients worked with variations of kettlebell swings using the 18kg and 20kg in sets of 20 and 18, and appropriate choices involving pullups, bodyweight rows, get-ups, windmills, and more! 🙂
