Factor 75

Some of you know about this, some of you don’t… I have actually basically stopped cooking at the end of June. I do still occasionally make the recipes and other things you see on this site, but for 8 meals a week, I let FACTOR75 do the work for me. And it’s been great! Really awesome, durable and fun workout equipment. I have their surprisingly comfortable weight vest and holy moly does it add some challenge to push-ups, stair climbs (already plotting a return of the infamous “parking garage small group workouts”). Kettle and Fire Bone Broth

I always try to keep cartons of bone broth handy – it might sound weird, but it’s a really nice snack to have on hand, especially if it’s cold outside. While all high quality bone broths can be used for this, the Kettle and Fire ones are seasoned and ready to go right out of the box. So instead of concocting things like taking chicken bone broth and adding miso paste etc. at the office and looking like a weirdo (actually they already know I’m a weirdo) I can just crack open one of these containers and heat it up in a mug or saucepan. After staying in an extended stay place a few years ago and reall liking their odd all purpose saucepan, I immediately came home and bought a Norpro “4th burner” pot after really liking it for heating soup and making hot beverages of all kinds. At home it’s my go-to for heating bone broth for quick snacks. It’s excellent for heating up the contents of a carton of Kettle and Fire Bone Broth.
