If you follow me on social media, you know I’m a huge fan of Fré Skincare. A few years ago, they reached out to me to see if I would want to try one of their products. After reading about the company and their focus, I was excited to give it a go. Amusingly, the Detox Me mask was the first product I tried from them, and ever since it has been one of my absolute favorites.
As you may have gathered from this website, we’re doing some very seriously intense workouts on a regular basis – and more often than not, it’s terribly hot outside for the outdoor ones. This mask is amazing for knocking the redness down, WAY down. Right when I get home, I rinse my face with water, pat dry, then apply the mask before I do anything else like sort out the mail, answer an email or two, then get everything together for a shower and wait for the hot water. By that time the mask has done its magic and I can gently wash it off in the shower.
While the mask does have Kaolin clay as an ingredient, it’s not overly aggressive way like some clay masks sometimes do. Kaolin clay is the most gentle clay used in skincare. It’s wonderfully refreshing and I always try to have a spare jar handy so I never run out! Recommended!
