Had WAAAAAAAY too much fun this morning at Lake Meadow Farms here in Central Florida. They had twelve adorable baby goats running around that we had a good laugh at before going in to do some serious food shopping. Not to mention there was also an adult goat who REALLY REALLY wanted to be on Instagram, even though she did have her moment of fame, it wasn’t enough and she actually smacked one of those cute little baby goats out of the way! (glad they’re tough at any age… geez)
Find out what I got, AND find out about another super healthy treat that I’ve been enjoying recently as well in the video below. (Not sure why I couldn’t be bothered to move the spare tripod, John Cleese book, and Bocce ball set out of the frame but it’s Saturday… I dunno.)
Everything is at or beyond my personal picky picky high standards for food (more on this later, but I see food as an enjoyable long term investment of sorts), and extremely delicious… but I do have a crazy appetite, no wonder my folks had a spare fridge in the garage when I was a teenager… Here’s a link my full product review of Healthy Skoop A-Game too.
In other news, even if you aren’t a powerlifter, you probably know the value of a solid deadlift (with a barbell, kettlebell, sandbag, baby goats?)… here’s Josh Henkin’s latest article (and really VALUABLE video on the hip hinge) on some supporting exercises you can do with an Ultimate Sandbag that will not only help your deadlift, but will also improve posture, back strength, coordination, and teach you great movement patterns (think… less risk of injury in life and sports!) How to Dominate the Deadlift: 4 Dynamite Drills Using the Ultimate Sandbag
It’s Super Bowl weekend, and if you need to make some guacamole, I’ve got you covered in this old post with 2 versions that I like to make and a stupid video too!
