Going to be honest with you, this is one of my favorite workout DVDs in the whole wide world. Its so good that if I find out that one of my clients already owns it, I give them “homework assignments” from it for when they or I am out of town.
The Power Breathing section is fantastic – the instructional portions are great for anyone to review. Which brings me to the next point – sure this is obviously a “women’s workout dvd” but… frankly the exercises and workout programs on it will work wonders for men too. You can follow a set program, or try your hand at a little program design by choosing from the different goddess themed workouts or from the individual focus sections. Done with proper form, sufficient weight and focus you will get a serious workout – I don’t care HOW advanced you are!
During the workout portions, Andrea Du Cane, Nicole Du Cane, and Kristann Heinz demonstrate the exercises – often doing scaled up or scaled down versions so you can see all three at once. I think that is a fantastic feature. Its also great to see these exercises performed by people who ACTUALLY practice with kettlebells regularly – these women are the real deal, not just some hired fitness models who show up and go through the motions.
