Coco Polo, Stevia Sweetened 70% Cocoa Dark Chocolate with Whole Dry-Roasted Almonds, Non-GMO, No Sugar Added, 2.82-Ounce Bar

choc barFound this at a local gourmet market which caters to an upscale crowd.  While the market is attached to an Italian restaurant selling wood fired pizza, they do seem to have quite a few low carb and low sugar items.  Unlike some low to no sugar added bars, this had a really nice flavor – not too sweet, and plenty of cacao-power 70% to be exact – which is further highlighted with the addition of roasted whole almonds.  Bar is realistically labeled as 2 servings, if you love someone enough you may actually share it with them.  Must confess, I ate the whole thing.  Oops.  Unlike other “sugar free” chocolates, this one claims to sidestep that whole.. ‘laxative issue’ and thankfully even after eating the whole 80g bar by myself I can back up that claim as being true – at least for me.   As long as you don’t have any digestive issues with the ingredients then this really is a nice chocolate bar which I’ll be buying again.
