The Handle Diameter Measurement of Nearly Every Dragon Door Kettlebell

March 22, 2021 By Adrienne 6 Comments

Finally got around to getting out the digital calipers and measuring every Dragon Door kettlebell in my collection! Ever wanted to know the approximate handle diameter? I have the answer in mm and inches. Please remember that all brands are a bit different and these measurements ONLY apply to the Dragon Door RKC Kettlebell handles and are approximate – there can be slight variations with coating thickness etc. Also note that I most unfortunately do not yet have a 44kg or 60kg kettlebell in my current collection, so I was unable to measure those – given the info provided you can likely make an assessment.

And the width of the handles, or are they all the same? Glad I’m stumbled across this as now I know the babbling about a narrow handle is only in one weight, thanks!

Hope I’m understanding the question correctly – the “width” in this case is likely the same as the handle’s diameter at least functionally. So the “slim” handle 16kg has the same size handle as the 12kg and 14kg – let me know if that’s what you wanted to know! 🙂

By width I meant the inside measurement of the handle from one top corner to the other top corner. So I know how easily two hands will fit on handle for example. New to KBs, so I don’t know if that’s a common concern or not, thanks again.

Sometimes people call that the “window” measurement – I’ve been meaning to get that on here soon – 🙂 Check out Benjamin’s commen below 🙂

Awesome, I’d love to have the same for window height (space between bell and bottom of handle) if you ever feel like measuring it.

That’s a really good idea! I’ll add that on here very soon!
