Where to start?! There’s a LOT going on…
FIRST, last weekend was the Encinitas PCC Workshop, which was FANTASTIC.
Al Kavadlo asked me to do the experience write up for it on the PCC Blog, so click here to read all about it and see some incredibly inspiring photos too!
SECOND order of VERY big news… Dragon Door’s powerful one-day Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification (HKC) Workshop is now eligible for NASM CEUs (to the tune of a whopping 0.8!).
The HKC workshop (of which I’ve helped at 3 of ’em so far) covers the essentials of adding kettlebell training to your instructor/trainer/coach toolkit. People are often surprised at the massive life (and business) changing power of the HKC curriculum. Honestly, I could make up workouts just using items from the HKC all day every day.
The updated, modern HKC workshop includes not only the drills leading up to and beyond the kettlebell swing, get-up and goblet squat, but gives you a full mobility warmup, progressions for your beginning/intermediate/advanced clients and athletes, workouts, and how to design your own super-effective programs. I’m leaving out a lot of info here, but you get the idea.
AND… if you’re looking at this site on your PHONE today, you might have noticed that we’re now mobile responsive! The regular desktop design (the three column with the green rivets on the sides) will still show up for desktops, laptops, and tablets, though I may decide to have the mobile design show up for mini tablets…
The mobile design is far from perfect right now, and will be steadily improving as I have free time (HAHAHA I mean… MAKE free time…). So if you see some odd spacing, some not-so-great looking squashed/stretched photos, rest assured I already know about it and it’s just a short matter of time until it’s all looking optimal… 🙂 That being said, let me know what you like in a mobile site.
The search function is also undergoing a facelift of sorts, AND the site is in active re-indexing mode, so you’ll be able to search for things very easily soon (even now if you can stand the interface)… including looking for Dragon Door Workshops by location!
