Q: How big a deal is it to stay at the hotel? I'm local to the cert, and it wouldn't be a huge deal to drive home (15-30 mins depending on traffic). Also, I have a 2 1/2 yr old and a 7-month old, and I'm thinking that putting my mommy hat back on might bring me out of a zone I need to stay in. Every time I think that staying in a hotel so close to home is silly, I think about … [Read more...] about More Questions about RKC Workshops
Variation on another Iron Tamer Idea….
Modified another great Master RKC David "Iron Tamer" Whitley idea to suit my small group kettlebell class tonight. Grab your Gymboss timer and a moderately sized kettlebell for this one! They did 3 rounds of the following: Kettlebell in the right hand, stepping backwards into lunges with the right leg - for 30 sec Kettlebell in the left hand, stepping … [Read more...] about Variation on another Iron Tamer Idea….
Stack Attack!
Here's another variation on a kettlebell stacking workout - though there are a few different drills for variety, I also chose these particular exercises to not overwork my kettlebell group on some exercises we had really hammered the previous session. A more traditional approach can be seen here: another stacked timed sets workout Stacking workouts are great ways to really … [Read more...] about Stack Attack!

Update on the Blog Contest –
Just a quick statement - I'm both honored and surprised to be in the DragonDoor.TV blog contest - even MORE surprised to still even be a going concern. I've slowly built this blog/site for over a year, enlisting friends to help with the logo design, general design (traded a printer and synthesizer for that from an artist friend). In the process, learned how to use both the … [Read more...] about Update on the Blog Contest –
Setting Personal Records in the garage with Coach Tim Shuman, RKCII
Did I get your attention with that "double beast press" tag there? Before you start calling me out, I wasn't the one who did it, Tim Shuman did. The double "beast" kettlebell press is something that he's been working on for a while - FYI those kettlebells weigh 106lbs EACH, so... yeah... and before you get all "I lift more than that on a barbell, bro" remember kettlebells … [Read more...] about Setting Personal Records in the garage with Coach Tim Shuman, RKCII
