Though I think that the majority of the 10,000 kettlebell swings will happen for me at the RKC weekend, I’m still participating in Tim Shuman, RKCII’s annual month-long 10,000 swing challenge. If you do the math, it works out to approx 238 swings per day. In 2 days I am 500 swings into it, so right on track so far! He says to pick a “prize” at the end of it, and I’ve chosen a Samovar – which is amusingly appropriate.
So far so good with the RKC Prep workouts, the main things I am concerned with right now are adjusting to high volume demands of the RKC weekend – what WILL a typical day be like?! The idea of actually attending something that I’ve trained for and looked forward to for over a year is frankly a little daunting. In these last crucial couple of weeks I am trying to fight being a total germ phobe, but its hard not to be with so much at stake. So don’t sneeze on me, ok? 🙂
