A LOT going on this weekend – a bunch of my RKC pals are starting to converge on Orlando in preparation for the Orlando HKC happening on Sunday. So I thought it might be a good time to consolidate a lot of the HKC related info from this site in one place – RIGHT HERE!
First, if you’re interested in the entry-level HKC (Hardstyle Kettlebell Certification), click here if you want to find an upcoming HKC workshop near you. And of course to make sure you know what’s what before going, click here to check around for an RKC or HKC instructor in your area to help you prepare for the workshop. And before you sign up for an HKC or RKC workshop always remember – these are HANDS ON events – you will be doing a LOT, so please read through the course requirements – these are not your typical sit then take a written test workshops. By the end you’ll be expected to be able to demonstrate exact form, teach and troubleshoot the form, and more.
Here are some personal experiences from friends who have attended HKC workshops:
Later next week, I’ll be sure to blog about the OTHER side of the HKC – hauling things, assisting coaching, etc. I will be loaning some of my kettlebells to the event – so hopefully everyone will enjoy seeing the amusing subtle way mine are marked as “property of GiryaGirl” Should be fun – I’m already looking forward to it – but for now I have to go buy some more official “instructor pants” – this is the perfect excuse!
