And those of you who have been swinging my mace, here’s where you can get your own just like mine (full size 6″ dome loadable mace about midway through the linked page)
In case you missed it, here’s a very recent interview with David Whitley on Dragon Door. I’m especially proud of how this all turned out.
I had a little too much fun with the 48kg “beast” kettlebell (translation: I took out a lot of frustration on “Ivan”) on Friday – and am still feeling it a bit today! LOL!!!! Here’s what happened:
5 rounds of:
- 10 2 hand 48kg kettlebell swings
- 20 Battling Rope throws
- 10 sprawls (burpees without the pushup, the jump or the silly name)
- 10 kettlebell deadlifts
Then it was 5 more rounds of 10 48kg kettlebell swings with any sort of active rest between sets. (translation: a few sprawls, but more wandering around in a daze)
A good thing to note is that this sort of thing can be done with any kettlebell you consider to be “heavy” or double kettlebell swings etc. It’s main purpose is burning off extra energy, and confidence building (and maybe some bragging rights?), Definitely not something to do very often, at least I don’t!
