These guys are INCREDIBLE. I'm grateful to have seen all this first hand in person - but you can kind of get an idea of how strong, agile and SKILLED these guys are:

Hanging Around - Pull Up Variations and anywhere workouts

Like to think that a video which starts out with fashion head nods to both Bruce Lee and Cliff Harski* bodes well.  Let's see if you feel the same way?

Here's a little of the fun that happened on the way out and back from a coffee run.   This is also similar to what happens when I got to pick up a custom made chocolate order... who said walking errands had to be boring?   Taking cues from both Convict Conditioning and Al Kavadlo's Raising the Bar, means the world is now my gym (safety is the utmost of course - regardless of what crazy i-beam plyo pull ups you may have seen on the internet lately - that video literally makes my hands sweat uncontrollibly btw.  I can't watch it without having that response.   GAH!!!!)

Josh Hillis, fellow RKC, fat loss expert, author of the 21-Day Kettlebell Swing Challenge (of which some of you have done!), the System Six Easy Fat Loss Program (Review here, Q&A discussion here), is also a super cool guy!  He's very active on twitter and facebook, so look him up - especially if you're using one of his programs - I've been witness to, and participant in many lively and motivating discussions with Josh and the people using his programs.  It's all a ton of fun.   Anyhow, check out his blog, there are some amusing celebrity workouts, tons of tips, ideas and pointers for getting the fitness results you want.  And it's not all about fat loss either, even though that's the title of his blog (Lose Stubborn Fat) - it's great stuff and you should go read/bookmark it: http://joshsgarage.typepad.com

An Exercise in Adaptation / Regression of a Classic Pavel Plan for Kettlebell and Bodyweight

There was some mention on the Dragon Door forums of "Pavel's Force Recon Workout" and of course I had to check it out.  After digging around and following a few links, then comparing them to make sure everything matched up - I found quite an evilly difficult little gem of a program.  VERY advanced - and the weights suggested were obviously not meant for me - as much as I hate to admit something like that, but it is what it is.  As in the past when working with my strength coach, RKC Level 2 Tim Shuman, we'd take the suggested weights of a "big man" workout and basically cut it in half.   Of course I also sent it to him under the usual guise of "am I nuts" and I was thinking cut the weights in half... right?

Sunday Night Practice Variation on Program Minimum Plus

It's Sunday night and I have spent a good part of this weekend doing (other people's) website work, reading, fielding an unbelievable number of text messages on a variety of subjects, chasing down FedEx, and honestly sampling a WHOLE LOT of Beyond Organic goodies.   Add to that feeling insanely jealous of my friends attending the Marketing Mastermind Intensive out in San Diego... so feeling a bit restless... plus having a bit of a stiff neck from sleeping weird on an old pillow... blah blah blah blah.   It was time to do something about all of that.
