Once again, a terrible leave of abscence... I hope that none of you have had the flu this season but I got hit by a real hum-dinger of one. I had just returned home from a fantastic adventure that I wanted to tell you all about, but quickly had to put that on hold as I only had the energy to do the most basic of work stuff (to you know, keep the lights on and the rent paid). The good news is, I was still able to complete a couple of really fun interviews for Dragon Door and have saved notes from all the stuff I didn't have a chance to write up for you yet (including some super fun workouts).
Like to think that a video which starts out with fashion head nods to both Bruce Lee and Cliff Harski* bodes well. Let's see if you feel the same way?
Here's a little of the fun that happened on the way out and back from a coffee run. This is also similar to what happens when I got to pick up a custom made chocolate order... who said walking errands had to be boring? Taking cues from bothand 's , means the world is now my gym (safety is the utmost of course - regardless of what crazy i-beam plyo pull ups you may have seen on the internet lately - that video literally makes my hands sweat uncontrollibly btw. I can't watch it without having that response. GAH!!!!)
Today got off to a GREAT start when I met some friends at The Jungleand Fitness here in Orlando. Seth Petruzelli, the gym owner and a pro fighter and his friend, local top personal JT agreed to try out the (Functional Movement Screen) after I sent them a few articles about how the screen is being used by NFL teams, and pro athletes of all varieties. The super cool thing about the is that really anyone can benefit from finding imbalances or shortcomings in their movement patterns.
