Today got off to a GREAT start when I met some friends at The Jungleand Fitness here in Orlando. Seth Petruzelli, the gym owner and a pro fighter and his friend, local top personal JT agreed to try out the (Functional Movement Screen) after I sent them a few articles about how the screen is being used by NFL teams, and pro athletes of all varieties. The super cool thing about the is that really anyone can benefit from finding imbalances or shortcomings in their movement patterns.
As far as we know - and we both checked, Laurel Tallahassee Kettlebells and Boot Camps To Go and I are the only 2 female Instructors in Florida. So of course we have to meet up from time to time, and get a whole lot of fun stuff going on. This always seems to involve tons of coffee in various forms (yes, I brought my stovetop espresso maker), dark chocolate, feats of strength, multiple computers, cameras, and lots of grilled steak.
