New Podcast! Adrienne and Co-Host Dr. Chad Eldridge Discuss Two VERY Cool Recent Events! Get the Scoop!
It's been a BLAST to add Dr. Chad Eldridge as the official Co-Host of the GiryaGirl.com Podcast (at least that's how it will be until we can come up with a new name/platform etc. for it.) This episode is a little shorter, but packed with info as both of us attended different, but extremely cool events last weekend. I set a timer during the recording (it's silent, thankfully) so that we would get close to equal time talking about both of these events. I was a judge for the very cool K.E.T.T.L.E. PRT competition in Chicago, Illinois. This unique event is the creation of Senior RKC Robert Miller and RKC Team Leader Katie Petersen. I will be writing a very detailed article about this event, but for a sort of sneak preview, listen to this ! Chad went to a FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) certification at the Academy in Austin, TX. You'll want to hear about the details of this fascinating system. I'm pretty darn intrigued!

Last night I shared the amusing Armour39 results from the circuit described below. Once again, we invaded the field with the very soft grass, which was suprisingly resilient considering all the traffic it received from the art show last weekend. Should have taken a picture, but after unloading the following it looked like we were going to have some kind of homegrown version of the Highland Games out there. In other words, it was looking pretty mighty and I am proud to both own and use this stuff (the list is excessive, the workout can be done with much less, this was a "just because I can" and "let's bring out all the toys!" type of thing)
has created yet another addictive snack, and this one is admittely over the top. If you have self-control issues, put the spoon away and make sure to open this in the presence of anyone you wish to share it with. I didn't take any chances, because I wanted a second opinion--and waited until one of my local foodie friends had time to check it out too before I opened the jar! We tried it with very thin slices of organic apple, but I later found out that it's also
Walnut Almond Cashew Trilogy Nut Butter is another one of the items and it is sublime.... It is delicious, too delicious, too wonderful, so good that after you eat it you can just swear that there's some little light rays being emitted from your ears. Who knew that combining the right ratios of simple raw and organic walnuts, almonds and cashews could create such a sublime snack, especially when paired with crisp, impossibly thin slices of pink lady apples!? Seriously you must try this. sent me a box of goodies for review, This divine
These simple ingredients are just chock full of healthy fats, minerals, and brain boosting vitamins. And its one of those snacks that I can just eat and then instantly have that "oh that is what I was supposed to eat just now" feeling. I hope the same happens for you.
My main complaint is that this is one seriously addictive little 8oz jar... Get your own jar of Walnut Almond Cashew Trilogy Nut Butter Here!
Onnit.com was generous enough to send me a selection from their incredible edible product line for review. This is the first of the many reviews which are on the way!
First, you'll be pleased (or maybe disappointed?) to know that this hemp-based high protein superfood concoction is made from non-psychoactive raw hemp seeds. So, sorry you will have to save your Cheech and Chong jokes for another time. The container also states that this delicious high protein snack mix shake will not make you fail any employment or athletic testing situations (hurrah!). Now with that out of the way, lets talk about this food!
